Heaven has made us one with God in Jesus Christ. Heaven has undone the separation resulting from the tree of death that is inherent in the knowledge of good and evil and the law. By living from Jesus we are living from God. Living from Him because we are in God and He in us.
BRIDE OF CHRIST
Eve came out of Adam when God put Him to sleep. She came out of His side and became part of His glory. This similarity in difference mirrored the glory of the trinity. It is also the picture of the Last Adam and the church who comes out of Jesus side because of His death.

The multiplication of Eve’s in this wise is the multiplication of the church – the church Jesus builds from those whose life He is; from those who are part of Him and complete Him. What I have just described is new covenant truth. This is the new and living way that is Christ manifest as us. If you are to be real sons today you need to hear this truth and allow it to unfold in your life. In doing so you will advance in hearing God in the main contours and in subtlety of important detail. Let’s be clear. Christians who attempt to live in the gifts yet remain in the old covenant do not discern well, let alone hear well.
Whether we stand in the new covenant or the old is the difference between living the Kingdom and living its shadow. We competently minister the Kingdom only in the new.
‘He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant--not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life’ 2 Cor 3.6 NIV.
FULLNESS DEFINED
‘On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you’ John 14.20 NIV. This is the day we are born into sonship.
In new covenant living, we are part of Christ and as such one with our Father, enjoying Jesus union and Father’s oneness with Jesus.
Fullness in Christ is not everyone exercising their spiritual gifts as some have said.
RECONCILIATION THE FOUNDATIONAL GIFT
People can exercise these gifts while running on empty and living in small christs and false christs. Some have absorbed a beggars version of fullness in Christ. Fullness in Christ is living in the Real Jesus who is the Christ of God. Not in a lesser christ of a lesser gospel. Fullness in Christ is living in the Son as Known by our Father.
Fullness in Christ is living in the truth – the truth of what Father, Son and Spirit have done for us in Jesus. Fullness is not participating in other gospels and meagre versions of who Jesus is for us and who we are in Him. Don’t expect the full flowering of the gifts if we have ‘another gospel’ whose essence is old covenant. You have fullness in Jesus, in who He is, what He taught and in His vicarious ministry for you. Fullness is Christ your life.
MATURITY
‘Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ’ Eph 4.15
Make sure your Jesus is the Christ of God. Ensure that your Gospel is the Kingdom gospel of the Father and the Son. Make sure you are the manifestation of Christ that you were re-born to be. Determine that you are not some stilted representation of the law and a bunch of observances. Here’s the thing. If we are still connected to the law or observances we have not been born again. We remain in Adam. But we are automatically reborn when we declare to ourselves and the heavenly witnesses that Christ is our life. Following this all that Christ is – is you!
GENUINE RENEWAL
‘He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit’ Titus 3.5 NIV.
In Jesus we are sons not theoretically or notionally. We are sons of Father in spirit and in truth. Jesus has won for us the spirit of sonship. This gift is intimacy with our Father and more. It is union. It is knowing Him as He is. It is His nurturing and mentoring of us and our growing up into all our Father has planned for us to be. Connected to Him we are in the sphere of infinite growth for eternity!
‘All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him’ Matt 11.27 NIV. To whom does the Son, reveal Himself? Those who are humble enough to choose His gospel above their own.
